What is Star Dancer of the Month?

Each month, instructors will recognize one student whom we feel has been showing our star dancer qualities.

What are the star dancer qualities?

A STAR DANCER:

Is Hard Working

Is Attentive in Class

Has a Positive Attitude

Attends Class Regularly

Always Gives Their Best Effort

Shows Good Leadership

Dresses Appropriately for Class

Doesn't Interrupt Their Teacher

And Follows All Other Studio Rules

Evie Gonzales

January 2024

Evie has come to every one of her classes this month, ready and eager to learn! She quietly waits her turn, is attentive during class, and never gives up while learning something new! Thank you Evie, for being a great role model for your classmates on demonstrating our STAR DANCER qualities.

Aspen Littlefield

February 2024

Aspen has been a great leader and role model to her classmates by always being ready to start dance class and quietly waiting her turn. She follows direction and is always eager to participate. Afton Trostrud

March 2024

Afton has excelled over the last few months in both of her classes! She has been showing great leadership to her fellow classmates by setting a good example for how they should always listen to instruction, quietly wait their turn, watch their classmates, and show up to class ready to dance! We can tell she has been working hard inside and outside of class to memorize her dances.

Mabel Dettwiler

April 2024

Mabel is hardworking and always the first to help lead Barre. She has worked hard to improve her technique over the past few month and always asks appropriate questions that help her and her peers understand what they are doing and how to do moves correctly.

Maeby Pearce

May 2024

Star Dancer for the month of May is one of our Very Little Ballerinas, Maeby Pearce! This is Maeby's first time doing ballet and she has come so far in her dance journey already! She knows her terminology and her basic moves. I do believe she also has perfect attendance for the season! She's nervous for her first recital, so everyone cheer very loud for our newest ballerinas!

Jocelyn Trostud

October 2024

For the month of October Jocelyn took home star dancer for the month. Miss Callie and Miss Macey always have high praises about the energy and hard working attitude she brings to classes every week. She is always willing to put in the effort to learn something new and works hard to perfect her skills. Her joy for dance is contagious, from hip hop classes to Zumba with her mom!

Abigale Suva

September 2024

Star Dancer for the month of September is another one of our Very Little Ballerinas, Abby Suva! Abby has been a great leader in her ballet class. She works hard and is a great friend to her classmates.

Kaia Gates

November 2024

Star Dancer for the month of November is one of our newest dancers this year, Kaia! Kaia only just started dancing with us in September and has already shown so much progress! She always works hard and is dedicated to learning. When we play emotive games, you can always guess what emotion she is trying to portray. Showing your true passion when you dance is one of the hardest obstacles for a dancer to overcome and she shows it!

Presley Boller

January 2025

Presley Boller is our Star Dancer for the month of January. Callie wishes she could've awarded the whole acro 2 class this award as these girls have been working so hard in this class. Presley stood out to us from day one, coming to class every day putting in the work and willingness to learn new things, even if they are hard. Keep up the great work, Presley!

Titus Gonzales

February 2025

Titus Gonzales is our Star Dancer for the month of February! Titus always shows up with a smile on his face and loves learning new skills from Miss Callie. We love his positive and fun attitude, also his adorable drawings.

Congrats Titus! You are a great role model for the Itty Bitty Bop class!

Janae Allen

March 2025

Our Star Dancer for the month of March, Janae! Janae started out only doing tap with us and now she is trying many styles of dance! We can see how much she loves to dance and how hard she works in all of her classes. She is such a fun person to have in class and she has grown so much in her dancing!

Ellie Willadson

April 2025

Miss Ellie for is our Star Dancer for the month of April! Ellie has been dancing with us for a long time and she has found such joy in the new Acro class! She is really blossoming as a young dancer! She has gained so much self confidence that she has choreographed her own solo that she will be performing at the spring recital! We are so proud of you Ellie!
